Craig Henderson is a Las Vegas attorney who, like Adam, has a background with both personal injury and complex litigation cases. Craig initially started his career as a computer programmer and industrial automation consultant, learning the ins and outs of companies and their processes. After a few years, Craig saw his calling elsewhere and began law school at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
While in school, Craig worked for the McGeorge Law Review as a staff writer and then managing editor – prestigious positions in any law school. After his second year at McGeorge, Craig worked as a summer clerk for Nevada’s largest law firm, the same firm where Adam was already working. At the end of the summer, Craig accepted an associate position at the firm to begin after graduation. Not complacent, Craig returned to McGeorge for his third year and spent the fall semester working as a full-time extern during the day for the Honorable Ronald B. Robie, Associate Justice, California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, while also studying advanced trial advocacy at night. Craig graduated from McGeorge with distinction and as a member of the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society for academic excellence in the study of law.
Craig wasted no time moving to Las Vegas the week after graduation to begin working and studying for the Nevada bar examination. Craig passed the Nevada bar exam a few months after graduation and passed the California bar exam six months after that. Craig eventually took a position at another Las Vegas firm specializing in complex commercial litigation, during which time Craig gained important trial and appellate experience.
Wanting to expand his legal skillset, Craig joined Adam again, this time at one of Nevada’s largest personal injury firms. Craig spent nearly seven years working on the firm’s largest litigation matters, including five years working with Adam. After two years apart, Adam brought Craig into Adam Smith Law because of his legal knowledge, writing skills, and complex problem solving skills. Together again, Craig and Adam bring decades of experience navigating Nevada’s state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels in lawsuits of all sizes and levels of complexity. They have settled and tried many million dollar and multi-million dollar claims and lawsuits, and work to be an immovable force in the legal world.
